Box Elder Twist

This 5 inch tall vase was turned off-center to generate the twist. A 3-point, multi-axis approach was used. Box elder always surprises when the finish is applied. I used Watco oil on this vase and really enjoyed seeing the colors, grains and patterns emerge.
