Caslon Ampersand

Caslon Ampersand

A 12” diameter Maple piece with offset turning, pyrography, carving, metal leaf, and airbrushing finished with satin lacquer.
I really like all the colors and textures, the offsets, and the symbol in the center. But the title of the piece threw me a curve. So I googled it. Very Clever!

@Curtis Fuller Thanks Curtis. Putting the ampersand in the center was my wife’s idea, but I like how it came out. I did this piece in a class with Doug Fischer.
