Slats with a Twist

This 11-inch tall vase was turned from various woods. The center section was formed from slats of alternating wood colors. An off-center turning approach was used to add a twist to the section with slats. All of the slats are vertical but the twist makes them look like they have different angular shapes. Finish is Watco oil buffed on the Beall system.
