Mom and Boys

These Double Natural Vessels are turned from Chinkapin Oak that, since Spring, has taken on a wonderful color and figuring. A friend took down an oak next to his house, and offered me all that I could use. I was glad to oblige, and even more glad now that I see the beauty. These small and whimsical vessels are 5", 4 1/2", and 4 1/2" high and are finished with shellac. They feature my Double Natural style with both a top live edge as well as a solid natural bottom.
Love the raw beauty of the wood. Nicely done
