I’m wanting to turn some lamp shades. I think I got the turning figured out but I do not know how to mount a turned shade on a lamp. Does anyone have some pictures or options that I can look at? Thank you

Good article in Woodturner, Dec 2019 on Peter Bloch . I believe he also has a video at his local club.

There is still a link to the Peter Bloch video on the club website (http://uppervalleywoodturners.com, I am a member), but it appears that the video has been taken off of YouTube

Edit: I think just the link is bad, here it is:

But the video on his own site is still available, at the bottom of this page: http://www.woodshades.com/crafting-a-shade/

I watched it several years ago and remember that he addressed making a suspension system

Timothy, do you know if Peter requested its removal. I know where the 2 hour video is on the web but won't post it if he had it taken down.

Bob, I don't know; my sense is that it is just a bad link on the club page, but that was all before my time (and not that I have ever had anything to do with it, anyway).
