We all know proper sanding is an essential step in making a turned piece look amazing. Often woodturners spend a considerable amount of time selecting the wood and getting the shape just right. Yet, when it comes to sanding, some get impatient and skimp on this critical finishing step. A good sanding job will not be noticed – while a poor sanding job may be noticed more than anything else.
